Enact and Tesco Unite in the Face of Credit Crunch Adversity with the Help of Worcester, Bosch Group
08/05/2009

Enact Energy and Tesco are supporting the success of their insulation service through united strength and growth in the midst of an economic downturn. A recent meeting involving Enact, Tesco, and Worcester, Bosch Group cemented relationships between those behind the Tesco Home Insulation Scheme launched nationally in summer 2008, and paved the way for a brighter greener future.

Enact’s Domestic Energy Efficiency Assessors, who work with the Tesco scheme across designated postcode areas of the UK, came together with Cornwall based Enact Directors, Management and Administrators at Worcester’s Headquarters, joined by Tesco’s Greener Living Category Director, Andrew Brocklehurst, to reap the benefits of a purposeful meeting which promoted relationship building and reinforcement among Enact team members, and set the foundations for future meetings and progression of the Tesco Home Insulation Service.

Worcester, Bosch Group’s Headquarters provided an ideal venue for the event, celebrating combined achievements to date with highly regarded contributions from the premium hosts making the day a truly valuable occasion.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to pave the way for future plans and developments, within the context of Worcester, Bosch Group’s trusted high-end technology innovation and long-standing commitment to energy efficiency and renewables.

Following Alistair Darling’s recent Budget announcement, detailing significant investment in energy efficiency and ‘clean energy’ technology over the coming year, including up to £4 billion of new capital from the European Investment Bank for UK renewable and energy projects, and an additional £45 million for small-scale renewable electricity and heat technologies, it is an exciting time to be in this rapidly growing industry.

Enact is proud of its accomplishments to date, and of the enduring relationships it has built with other key players shaping an energy efficient future, such as lead retailer Tesco, and market leader in domestic heating and hot water systems, Worcester, Bosch Group.

Enact looks forward to the rapid growth in development and application of renewable technologies, and the company’s inevitable shift in focus towards such a fundamental area, a shift supported by a united team working towards collective goals.
